Welcome to AWA Dance Company, where passion meets purpose and inclusivity shines through the power of dance. Founded and led by the dedicated Jonathan, our group is comprised of extraordinary young adults who share a love for dance and embrace their unique journey with a-typical conditions.

For each member of our vibrant community, dancing is more than just a hobby – it's a transformative journey that ignites confidence, fosters connection, and celebrates individuality.

West London Performing Arts Academy Charity (WLPA) provides an enriched, inclusive and supportive learning environment where children and young people can discover their potential, develop their confidence and, most importantly, believe in themselves and their own abilities.
Through the performing arts, we encourage our students to express themselves, build self-esteem and develop valuable skills that can support them both on and off the stage. Our approach is centred around each individual, creating a welcoming space where everyone is encouraged to participate, grow and feel a sense of belonging.
Founded in 2012, WLPA has supported children and young people through the performing arts for over a decade. We recently relocated to our new home in Northfields, Ealing, an area rich in diverse backgrounds, cultures and communities. Our new centre provides a dedicated space for our students to learn, create, perform and connect with others.
We offer performing arts classes every Saturday during term time for children and young people, alongside our Post 16 College, which runs throughout the week for young people looking for a more bespoke and supportive approach to education.

We were incredibly proud to see members of our AwA team featured on the ITV's The Assembly — a unique interview programme where autistic and neurodivergent people take the lead in interviewing well-known public figures.
The programme celebrates individuality, encourages open and honest conversations, and gives neurodivergent voices a platform to be heard. The episode also showcased the incredible talent of our performers, with AwA bringing their energy, personality and passion for dance to the screen.
It was a fantastic opportunity for our young people to share their voices, celebrate who they are and show audiences exactly what they can do. We couldn’t be prouder!
